1. What kind of door do you have?
Most smart locks fit steel doors, and there are models for wooden and aluminium doors too. The thickness of your door and the size of the lock cut-out decide which model fits.
If you are not sure, take a photo of the inside and the outside of your door and send it to us.
2. How do you want to open the door?
- Face recognition: Just walk up to the door, even with your hands full.
- Fingerprint: Quick and easy, also for children and older people.
- PIN code and card: Practical for guests, tenants and staff.
Every Facelock model combines several methods. See the comparison table on the products page.
3. Batteries and power cuts
Smart locks run on batteries, so power cuts do not affect them. The lock warns you when the battery is low; if it runs out completely, you can open it with the emergency power input or the mechanical key.
4. Do you want to manage it from your phone?
Models with app support let you open the door remotely, see who came in and when, and give guests time-limited codes.
5. How will installation work?
Describe here who installs the lock, where, and how long it takes. Visitors want to know this before they buy.
