Frequently asked questions

Will the door open if the battery runs out?

The lock warns you days before the battery runs low. If it runs out completely, you can open it with the emergency power input or the mechanical key.

Does the lock work during a power cut?

Yes. The lock runs on batteries, so power cuts do not affect it.

Which doors can it be fitted to?

Steel, wooden and many aluminium doors. Send us a photo of your door and we will tell you if it fits.

How long does installation take?

On most doors, installation takes about an hour.

Do I need to replace my door?

Usually not. The smart lock replaces the lock on your existing door.
